We all receive them, whether we want them or not, unwanted gifts can be an absolute nuisance, especially if they are big in size. There is literally no where to put them. What what is it that you can do with a gift that you simply do not like? I mean how rude would it be if you turned around to the person and said you did not like it. So lets take a look at a few things you could perhaps do.
Give it to Charity
This is probably in my opinion the best option. Charities incline to get a lot of second hand items. So they would be ever so happy to receive something new. It is also said that New Year is the busiest time of the year for charity shops and thats merely because of the fact that a vast intensity of people are bringing back their undesirable gifts. So you do not have to feel as bad.
Give it to a Sibling
You could try passing it down to your brother or sister, or alternatively try to give it to another family member. Just make sure that the person that gave it to you does not see, otherwise they will not be really felicitous.
Throw it Away
If you genuinely detest it that much then you could look at the hypothesis of throwing it away or giving it to a recycling centre. But once again if the individual that gave it to you decides to ask where it is, you may have to derive up with some fast answers.
There are also a vast amount more of things that you should be doing. I am confident that if you do something good with the gift, then the person that gave it to you will not be too upset. As I would preferably contribute something away to charity instead of letting it decompose in the shed someplace.
