The Beatles Remasters on Vinyl

Many music lovers strongly feel that vinyl LPs are the ultimate way to listen to an album. These people believe there is just a certain magic to watching the “black circle” (to quote Eddie Vedder) spin and knowing that the amazing sound you are listening to is coming from a needle in the record’s groove.

The Beatles 2009 Remasters

The Beatles in Stereo Remastered Box Set

The Beatles studio albums were originally remastered digitally and released on CD in the 1980s at that time mastering for CD was a new art and since the 80s a lot has been learned about how to do it best but most important is all of the many technological advances during that time.

The many advances in digital technology and all of the know how learned of how to most effectively remaster digitally have been put to very good use with the remastered Beatles releases of 2009. The Beatles in MP3 on USB

The Beatles are one of the few bands who have never made their music available to be bought as mp3 downloads on AmazonMP3 or iTunes. I’m pretty sure they are the only band that has sold millions of albums that isn’t included on iTunes. When the news came that in December of this year The Beatles music was finally coming out as mp3s most folks probably guessed that this meant that their music was going to be available but that’s not true, instead they have gone another way: The Beatles USB Flash Drive.
