Tips of stems together with the flowers are gathered in July to September and dried in the shade of an airy place. Lavender is known to have beneficial effects on the stomach and uterus, it can reduce bloating and encourages the secretion of urine, and it also has a positive influence on menstruation. It is recommended in treating diseases of the brain and nerves, it is also good against nervous heart palpitations, cramps in the bowel, migraines, hysteria and fainting.
